Melbet Betpower100 code: how the 5x sports rollover really works

Checked on 10 September 2026

Betpower100 is one of three Melbet registration codes for Ethiopia and, like the others, it opens the 200% welcome offer. PromoCode.et uses this page for the question sports bettors ask most: is the rollover actually doable? Melbet's answer is better than most — 5x, singles allowed, 30 days — but it hinges on one line in the terms, the minimum odds, which is listed as 1.40 in most places and 2.10 in one recent audit. This guide shows how to find that line and what each version means with numbers in Birr.

Where Betpower100 goes

In the promo code line of the Melbet registration form, after the phone number and password and before you confirm. One-click, phone, email and social registration all show it. The account must be new; the code cannot be added afterwards. The full sign-up and a Telebirr deposit are walked through in the Addis100 guide.

How the rollover is counted

Rollover is turnover, not net loss. Each qualifying bet counts its stake towards the total, whether it wins or loses. With a 2,000 ETB bonus and 5x, you need 10,000 ETB of qualifying stakes within 30 days. Because singles count at Melbet, you can place ten bets of 1,000 ETB, a hundred of 100 ETB, or any mix — accumulators are allowed but not required, which is the main difference from 1xBet and Win Win Bet, where only three-leg accumulators count.

Bets settled at a void, cashed out early or placed below the minimum odds do not count. Bets on both outcomes of the same market are usually excluded too.

Why the minimum odds line decides everything

Take the same 10,000 ETB of turnover in 100 ETB singles:

Minimum oddsTypical betRough win rateWhat it feels like
1.40Strong favourite to win, or a double of two 1.20 favouritesAround 65–70% before the marginSteady; the bankroll drifts down slowly with the margin
2.10An even-money outcome or a two-leg accumulator of 1.45sUnder 50% before the marginA hundred near coin-flips; large swings, real chance of losing the bonus and the deposit

At 1.40 the Melbet bonus is one of the easiest of the three brands to clear. At 2.10 it is a long series of coin-flips that most people should decline. That is why the guide insists: after registering, open Promotions → welcome bonus and read the minimum odds before you deposit. If it says 2.10, consider depositing without the bonus — Melbet allows that — or choosing an offer you can complete.

A worked example in Birr

  1. Deposit 1,500 ETB via Telebirr

Above every version of the bonus minimum we have seen.

  2. Receive 3,000 ETB of bonus (200%)

Assuming the cap is above that, which it is in every listing.

  3. Rollover: 5 × 3,000 = 15,000 ETB in qualifying bets within 30 days

    500 ETB a day, or 3,500 a week.

  4. At 1.40 minimum odds

Fifteen weekend football singles of 1,000 ETB on favourites at 1.40–1.60 over four weekends gets there. Expected cost is roughly the margin — a few hundred Birr — against 3,000 ETB of bonus.

  5. At 2.10 minimum odds

The same 15,000 ETB placed at even money has a wide range of outcomes; losing the whole 4,500 ETB (deposit plus bonus) before the rollover is done is a realistic scenario.

Practical rules while the bonus is active

  • Do not request a withdrawal — it cancels the bonus and its winnings.
  • Check whether a maximum stake per bet applies with bonus funds (it is in the terms; we could not verify a figure).
  • Keep bets clearly above the minimum odds; a 1.38 single counts for nothing.
  • Watch the countdown in the promotion panel; the 30 days run from crediting, not from your first bet.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • 5x is a low multiplier for a 200% bonus
  • Singles count — no accumulator requirement
  • 30 days is enough for a normal betting rhythm
  • Lowest minimum stake of the three brands (about 8 ETB)

Cons

  • Minimum odds may be 2.10 in your version of the promotion
  • Cap and bonus minimum deposit vary between listings
  • Maximum stake with bonus funds not published
  • No Ethiopian licence since December 2025

FAQ

Is Betpower100 better than Addis100 at Melbet?

No. All three Melbet codes open the same 200% welcome offer. Use whichever you copied.

Do accumulators count more towards the rollover?

No. Each bet counts its stake once, single or accumulator. Accumulators just need every leg — or the combined odds, depending on the wording in your terms — to meet the minimum.

Do live bets count?

Melbet's listings do not exclude live betting from the rollover; cashed-out bets do not count. Confirm in the promotion terms.

Can I cancel the bonus if the odds requirement is 2.10?

You can decline the bonus before depositing (bonus settings) or ask support to remove it afterwards, forfeiting the bonus balance. Decide before the first deposit.

What happens after 30 days?

Unwagered bonus balance and its winnings are removed. Your own deposit and any winnings from it stay.
